Here is announcement 365Agile confirms Nottingham closure | Insider Media Ltd . I cannot understand why they did not succeed? Too ambitious? Under funding? Crowd sourcing failure?

Looks like finally the EAGLE files are available, at https://github.com/WirelessThings/OpenPi/tree/master/Eagle

Over 6 months late, but they made progress eventually. Other kickstarters can be delayed for two or three years or longer!

Great review as always, it's a pity that they had dropped the ball in so many small ways. I would say that the original compute has large acreages of Ground plane as well as this design so maybe this is where that had "leaked " in but that is a general purpose board with no dedicated RF pretentions.

For the price you may be better off with a normal PI and a separate RF unit say on a USB lead as a tether that you could position separately for optimal performance.

The idea of using this a cheap compute board is a good one ...not unlike the realization that the Paralella was in fact a great cheap Zynq proto board!
