Pi is really evolving and getting better with the time. Here are my experiences and observations.1.BOOT TIMEThe first difference you will find when you will

RE: Raspberry Pi 2: My Experience

Nice review, I liked lens pen holder :)

RE: Raspberry Pi 2: My Experience

Great review, I know this is a little old now but one thing I could think of to add would be to measure performance on the various operating systems, so say compare video playback using openelec vs raspian for example. Regardless, great review and I hope to get this product soon.

RE: Raspberry Pi 2: My Experience

Deepankar,

nice and useful the scenario you depicted on the RPI possibilities. I see that there is a potential issue, maybe related to your First boot chapter of the document, that is about the SD card preparation. I have tried several ways to do this with Mac and Windows platforms following different documentation sources, including the raspberry org website and other trustable discussion contexts. What I saw is that the very very first thing that the users should pay attention is the SD card formatting mode. As for what I saw, with all models of RPI the card boots correctly and the first-run has no problems only when the card is formatted with the SD Formatter. Using the methods suggests for Linux, Mac and Windows it may or may not work. I think that this aspect is too influenced and difficult to keep under control by the platform version, last OS updates and so on. I think that the suggestion to prepare the desired image for the RaspPI on a SD or MicroSD card formatted with this official tool (available for all the platforms) is the most secure way to reach the result.

RE: Raspberry Pi 2: My Experience

The password does not issue stars as you say because of issues like How to Reveal, Show, View Passwords hidden under Asterisks/Stars which can compromise security.
