The data is in XML and the android app just reads the XML from the server, parses it, and displays it to your liking. To write back I just use CGI. What I started with was simple texting. I have an email server on the Pi. Any texts that don&amp;#39;t come from our phones get sent to /dev/null. Otherwise they are parsed for commands (e.g., a text message that says &amp;#39;info&amp;#39;).&amp;nbsp; The Pi responds with the info (Alarm: OK Now Playing: Back in Black -- AC/DC Uptime: 6 days 12 hours 43 minutes 12 seconds).....&lt;/p&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.element14.com/aggbug?PostID=2614&amp;AppID=86&amp;AppType=Weblog&amp;ContentType=0" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description></item><item><title>RE: Home Automation...
