Thats cool! I had considered a RPi for my arcade I built, but that was before the RPi 2 was out and performance was marginal! Which one did you use? now the RPi2 is out I am considering a mini arcade but I will buy some gear for it. I am trying to give my children an experience they don't have an opportunity to have.

So I'm currently working on putting RetroPie 3.0 on because I was having trouble configuring the controls for N64 and the text was a little too small to read on my little screen but version 3.0 has a user interface for configuring controls for each system I'm pretty sure. Anyways I'll post a video of it in action as soon as I can and I'll post the specs soon also. Feel free to ask any questions though!

I don't know if it's just because I'm from Yorkshire, but I love the super-low budget projects! It's more about making use of stuff you already have at hand, rather than it being cheap (although the latter aspect is definitely a bonus!). Nice work! Let's see it in action with a video!
