Hello: I can't get my Pi Foundation 7 inches LCD display screen to display with Rasbian Wheezy (build of 2015-05-05) installed? Are there any specific parameters to use in /boot/config.txt to get it to work? I have tried different approaches - independent power sources for both RPi2 and screen, etc) - the screen is still black. Anything else to look out for?

It seems you have answered yourself a simple question you asked : how do i rotate the screen so that the power cord will be up

Hi Enrico,

I started using my touch screen this weekend, tried both the wheezy and jessie raspbian and didn't need to enable SPI or anything else.

The following commands were all I needed to get the touch screen up and running:

* sudo apt-get update

* sudo apt-get upgrade

Tried both on the A+ and the 2B.

That bezel and stand look really good!

The gloss/slightly translucent white finish looks nicer than the default black border!

I did wonder why the official RPI case was one style, and the official 7" screen a totally different one : )
