I am working on a project where I need to use Imagemagick to make a new picture from four different files.
Right now, I have four sets of 1080 pictures (each). They are named 1_0001.jpg, 1_0002.jpg, and 2_0001.jpg, 2_0002.jpg and so on...
I would like have Imagemagick go through and make a new montage file that will be made up of 1_0001.jpg, 2_0001.jpg, 3_0001.jpg, and 4_0001.jpg. The output would be a file called montage_0001.jpg (or something like that). Then I would like to make another that will be made up of 1_0002.jpg, 2_0002.jpg, 3_0002.jpg, and 4_0002.jpg and call that one montage_0002.jpg. This would go on for all 1080 pictures.
It seems like I would need a for loop, but I am not sure about the syntax and structure of it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
