Where is the correct noobs or raspbian image with support for Cirrus audio card (for raspberry b+) ?

Hi to all. I need some help.

I cannot find for download  one working modified noobs image or raspbian for new cirrus audio card for raspberry b+. I tried some of noobs images but i cannot find one that match. What is that package called firmware on specs pages ?, Noobs image ?, Raspbyan ?, nothing that all ?

I only find here seemed only for old raspberry b (not +) and their Cirrus audio card (not for rpi +)... image

I need too the kernel patch for my devices, because i want patch volumio but i find and tried some images with wolfson patch that i can find in volumio support pages, and nothing work and i cannot find any that matching with my raspberry b+ and Cyrrus audio card.

I think is so much hard to find correct downloads for each device and need improve that all short you can.

Thanks

Please try this link - and click on Firmware Download which is a 2.1Gb ZIP file which should contain the image you're after.

The specified item was not found.

I believe it should be a Raspbian image, although as I don't own the card, I'm not inclined to download it and load it just to try it for you.

Why don't you unzip it, write it to a card and see what your Pi does with it? I mean, if you have the file already, it's a pretty simple process, and then you'll know for sure what you've got. Then you can do the regular sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade to bring it up to date if necessary.

It is Raspbian for sure, and it looks (for me) almost the same as Noobs which I used before.

Ok. I can confirm the only system for download from here today are a Raspbian image (not noobs) and they work correctly out of the box with rpi B+ and Cirrus Audio Card +.

    Thanks,

Im still waiting farnell (or Cirrus) include on rpi kernel the driver support for that new Cirrus Audio Card, and then we have the possibility run all others system and s.o. images.

I thinks that its absolute necessary for any one what wants going to work this hardware.

Glad to hear you've got that sorted. I hope that the changes are made and adopted for the ease of integration with all OSes - I agree that it's a great thing to have.
