I purchased a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B 1 GB. The accessory kit I purchased is from Adafruit industries. Thus far, I used the SDcard that came with the accessory kit after downloading NOOBS 1.4.0 and installed the OS on the Raspberry Pi. I was also able to get the "Ourlink" wifi adaptor to work. I can connected to the internet. I was watching the Getting Starter video #4 from element14.com entitled "Your First Pi Project". It talks about the 26-pin cable to connect to the Raspberry Pi. The Adafruit accessory kit does contain a 26-pin cable. But my Raspberry Pi 2 Model B has more pins on it (I think 40). So two questions:
(1) Can I use the 26-pin cable, or do I need to purchase another cable?
(2) Where is pin-1 on the Raspberry Pi? Can you explain from the perspective that I have the Raspberry Pi in my hand with the USB and EtherNet ports on the left, and pins to the right, directly below the HDMI and EtherNet ports.
