Looking for help on this LCD

Question

I am wishing to connect this LCD to a Raspberry Pi using it's LCD interface. I have the data sheet at http://www.beyondinfinite.com/lcd/Library/Hannstar/HSD160PHW1-A.pdf. Can someone point me in the right direction or tell me if this is way off the beat?

Hi Clem, It's not possible directly, because although there is an LCD display connector on the RPI, it is unusable until RPF release some information on it (and when they do, it will be for their displays). The display you mention can be used with (say) a HDMI converter circuit board if available. Otherwise, better to use it with the RIoTboard, it has a direct interface for connecting up such displays, see these posts, part 1 and part 2 .
