Starting off, I was so excited and eager to get my hands on the raspberry pi, twas a time I thought I had not had much opportunity as a kid to explore properly! Folks were playing with lego, mechanno and other such marvels! I perused catalogues and I would crave such things Myself, but for the most part I was content with what I had. My family finally got an old BBC model B, and I felt astounded, and so out of touch with the modern day marvels that everyone else had, spectrums, ataris, and I did what I could to play catchup!

Always I get that feeling, I blinked time moved on again, and still no real comprehension of how any of this stuff really works.

Gobsmacked, Dazed and eternally confused

But the raspvberry pi put a big old smile on this tired auld face, and I thought I'd share my out of the box experience, with the raspberry pi, at a time when I merge some oldschool knowledge from my papa in properly wiring plugs!

Mixed with retro design elements, and artistic cabling demonstrating safe cabling in artistic fashion!

To start with I started posting my build on facebook, to remind everyone on my freinds list to learn something new, and see what interesting designs I see oot and aboot!
