&lt;p&gt;By coincidence, I was trying out what may be the same display last night,&amp;nbsp;with a Pi Pico too. I didn&amp;#39;t realize there was a Pimoroni board, I&amp;#39;d soldered to the LCD module itself (module from Aliexpress).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It&amp;#39;s an unusual display.. exceedingly clear visibility at all angles, whereas most small low-cost displays struggle there. It is interesting that your board is&amp;nbsp;running from 3.3V, I wasn&amp;#39;t sure how to power the backlight, so I&amp;#39;d wired it to the 5V rail via a resistor, I didn&amp;#39;t know if the backlight LEDs needed a minimum voltage of around 3.3V or not.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My use-case is for a frequency synth, the readability indoors is excellent even on the tiny size of the display. In the photo below, the large digits are 6mm height, and are easily readable from at least a couple of meters away.&lt;/p&gt;
