Hello everyone, I am really happy to present my video demonstration of my Smart Vehicle Headlight prototype, and I am glad it went well.
You can hear the room light switch toggle between on and off which is operated by my brother, for dim light ambient my brother had to use card sheet under the fluorascent bulb, you can see the shadow too...
I had to use heat shrink tube to eliminate self ambient reflection, like this...
I tried poser the LEDs through TPS92512EVM-001TPS92512EVM-001 too, it works great with it...
Another demo video with ambient sensor in my hand...
Prototype limitation
This is the prototype of my Smart Vehicle Headlight, the prototype was developed under limited resources and tools, so it is having some limitations which is listed below
1) The forward current under test environment is 1A maximum and not more than 250mA for each LEDs.
2) The prototype is not providing anything to control thermal condition.
3) The MCU MSP430FR4133, which is controlling the LEDs are not powered separately, it's still using the USB power of the computer.
Potential of the Idea
Even though this prototype has limitations, the potential of this idea will be turning this project into product. By using professional PCB fabrication houses we can create aluminium PCB for LEDs to control thermal conditions, separate PCB design for MCU and suitable LED controllers which can handle 10A in maximum. these things will make this prototype as professional product.
Conclusion
I am officially concluding this Texas Instruments and Würth Elektronik LED Roadtest+, special thanks to everyone who selected me to do this roadtest, the resource providers of Texas Instruments and Würth Elektronik, and the element14 community, thanks to everyone who follow my blogs and the ones who provide inputs. Thanks to Element14 community and staffs for this awesome opportunity you have created for us. OVERL ALL you guys ROCKS!!!
