I like storing some probes in cases too, so great to see that the digital pods came like that, and the probe design looks really good.

I tried capturing the sequence to set up serial decoding using the built in screen to video thing in Windows 10.

It's useless - it doesn't capture pop up menus so you see a screen where the mouse pointer clicks invisible stuff !

So in plain text:

Click Tools in top menu bar

Select Serial Decoding

Click the Create button

Choose I2C (or whatever) from the pop up menu

Set channels for Data and Clock

Set threshold for 50% of I2C working voltage

Set hysteresis for about 25% of threshold

Set up Display as you want it

(fill in a name and accept defaults for first try)

Click OK

And that's it.

The sound you hear is me weeping.

I have not the knowledge or experience to demonstrate the equipment's capabilities the way you have. My review test of displaying an 8 bit decoder didn't even scratch the surface. Good test equipment in the hands of capable people is amazing.

The decode screen shot (second from top) what scope options to display?

Nice review. Particularly like the 'pluggy and grippy things', they look like a good set up. I've not done any SPI decoding with my scope - Siglent SDS1104X-E - only I2C: I find it hard work to get it set up and decoding, its not intuitive so I resort to the manual which is hopeless and info on the t'internet doesn't seem to match what I presume is an updated interface. I'd like to think that other scopes are a lot easier to decode digital signals?
