In common with an increasing number of oscilloscopes the MXO4 series offers the option of a built-in signal generator and software to allow it to operate as a Frequency Response Analyser.
In the case of the MXO4 the FRA and signal genera

RE: Rohde and Schwarz MXO4 Scope - Frequency Response Analyser

Very nice and in depth analysis.
I've never had the chance to play with FRA (on any scope) and I learned quite a bit by reading this.
Awesome job, congrats!
Looking forward for their response.

RE: Rohde and Schwarz MXO4 Scope - Frequency Response Analyser

Very good test report.

Great information, and Interesting results! I have yet to try FRA.

From the screenshots, it looks like the error occurs each time the phase was around zero degrees (i.e. the yellow dots below are all at zero degree points), as if the calculation has greater error close to zero phase, or perhaps some rounding error having a bigger impact. I wonder if their algorithm needs to grab more measurements and average as the phase approaches zero degrees. Definitely looks like a bug.
