Have you compiled the source code of smartcam and run it on Ubuntu? If so, what cross-compilation tools did you use for compilation? I tried compiling the smartcam source code using the SDK generated by petalinux2023.2, along with the vitis AI library and vvas. The compilation was successful, but the executable cannot run on Ubuntu. The cross-compilation chain I obtained has been updated to the official Ubuntu version. Additionally, the .so file required by the smartcam executable is newer than the version available on Ubuntu.

RE: AMD Xilinx Kria KV260 Vision AI Starter Kit : Preparing the KV260

Thanks for the bring up notes. Just curious, how long did it take you to boot up Ubuntu 22.04 for the first time? A tad slow is a bit of an understatement. I've run through the process several times already (including Ubuntu 20.04 as well) and it usually takes 15-20 minutes to get to the log in screen.

After restart it can still take close to 10 minutes for a restart. Am I doing something wrong?

RE: AMD Xilinx Kria KV260 Vision AI Starter Kit : Preparing the KV260

Great work [mention:441493a9ae654e5e94d5ecbfb7c590be:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] , everything you tell in the blog is a déjà vu for me.

Lost in the documentation. Reading answers in forums that only apply to a certain version. Blogs that say that everything is very easy and there is no way to replicate.

Mess of versions of development tools and operating systems. My fight against Petalinux ended up abandoning, after dozens of tests I ended up discovering that my problem to generate Petalinux images were caused by a bad Internet connection.

I changed the Internet access point and on one occasion I managed to generate an image, no more successes later.

I made several blogs documenting the process followed. Unfortunately, all the blogs I made have been outdated and there is not even any of the links of the resources I used a year ago. All references have disappeared or moved them.
