I might have to get one of these.

RE: Aim-TTi SMU4201 Road Test | Power Supply and Load Experiments

Yes, I enjoyed the update. Thanks for taking the roadtest seriously and doing all of this in addition to the review itself.

Your Hantek has 'up to 20kHz' bandwidth, but that might only be for small currents. Do you think you might be measuring the current probe risetime, rather than that of the SMU?

RE: Aim-TTi SMU4201 Road Test | Power Supply and Load Experiments

Great progress so far! I have been looking forward to the reviews of this SMU.

I really appreciate the effort you're going through to take and post relevant scope screenshots.

For some weird reason the Load operation modes (CC, CR, CP) can only be used with positive (+) voltages and therefore negative (-) currents. To sink current from negative (-) voltages, we must use one of the source voltage or current mode.

So, is this limitation only when you are operating in a specific "load" mode? (I haven't looked at its basic operation yet.)
