Nice build idea to create a dog feeder. Yes, I think you can use the pre-trained YOLO model to detect dog. But you would also need to have a motor like servo or something similar to dispense the food. Wrong detect might also happen, so you can prevent this if you use some technique.

Awesome progress on the dog feeder build! The benchmark breakdown on eMMC speed and UVC camera FPS bottlenecks was really insightful. Looking forward to part 03!
