Good start.

I remember well the old days, when I would get to work and turn on all of the test gear so that they had time to warm up and stabilize.

You have to understand, most were tube based in those days, so it took a while to reach thermal stability.

When I set up the lasers, I had the other problem. They had to run a while to get to a low enough temperature for them to stabilize.

So seeing a device that you can just turn on and use is a dream come true.

I'm quite surprised how quick this boots up! It's WAY faster than my 3000X which takes an age to get running whenever I need to do anything with it. It's also quite noisy in my very quiet lab so I don't like to just leave it switched on. What's the noise level like on this one?
