I had hoped to use a simple battery box to power the motor but unfortunately the connector on that had the reverse polarity to the connector needed by the board.

Checking the firmware, I see that there version 1.0.7 installed but there is a newer 3.07 and a TMC2300-EVAL-KIT firmware. The latter has the filename TMC2300-EVAL_Firmware_Landungsbruecke_v1.07.hex which seems to match what is on our board. So not quite sure what to do here. Think I'll stick with the current version for the moment.

I looked at the github for the Landungsbrücke https://github.com/trinamic/TMC-EvalSystem/tree/master/boards

The TMC2300 is not mentioned in the list of supported boards in the directory listing or code. The 1.07 may be the safest choice.
