The previous blog (#11) covered the system objectives and features. There will be a third blog in this mini-series to demonstrate operation of the system in a v

RE: LED Road Test - Vehicle Situational Awareness System Indoor Demo - Blog 12 Dec 20

Nice update Douglas.

I am very interested in your air based distance measurement tests.

DAB

RE: LED Road Test - Vehicle Situational Awareness System Indoor Demo - Blog 12 Dec 20

[mention:193ac2434c814a24b46635a2210baec1:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05], seems we're working on similar subjects. You're ultrasonically sensing distances. I'm busy with ultrasonic liquid hight measurements and identification.

You suggested that I should include distance measurements while doing the TI UltraSonic Sensor roadtest. Unfortunately, the piezo transducer that I have is 1 MHz - ideal for liquids but out of range for measurements in gas (e.g.: air).

Glad to see that you picked up distance measurement in your roadtest.
