Terms & Conditions
Testers will be selected on the basis of quality of applications: we expect a full and complete description of why you want to test this particular product.
Testers are required to produce a full, comprehensive and well thought out review within 2 months of receipt of the product.
Failure to provide this review within the above timescale will result in the enrolee being excluded from future Road Tests.
I'll add it to my list of things to look at. From previous experience, the interface on oscilloscopes usually doesn't lend itself well to entering text. I tend to either rename the files/add anotations once I've got the files on a PC.
Actually I've heard these scopes have some sort of web interface, and there is definitely PC control software available. Those are probably better options for capturing images, as then you have a full PC with a keyboard for typing.
Now we're on the subject of requests: one of the things I was curious at, was how the text entry (trace labels, file names) works; I've used the 3014 in the past, and found the text entry a bit clumsy at times. The sales engineer I talked to at the time told me a new firmware version would improve it, but since my contract ended a few months later I haven't checked again. Would be nice to see a demo / evaluation of that.
well, i just say that review looks better if you add at least one picture, or video. Think of this way, will you buy a car just by reading plane text ?
Just simple idea: In Terms & Conditions will add section, that at least one normal/good quality picture must be added to review. I believe if some one can enroll to roadtest , making one photo will not hurt, and lot of review don't have any pictures, just raw text. Well, that is my piont of view, i like to see stuff, not just read about it.

Very nice display. Great choice for a RoadTest.
Thanks Christian, for bringing it up.

Steve
I would love to do a review on this kit - developing a mixed signal application on the STM32 board and using the scope to its best capabilities - right up my street. Great Road Test - good luck everyo…
Good morning -
We have had a high number of very good quality applications, I'd like to thank everyone for taking the time in being so thorough. It's been a difficult choice, but after careful consideration…
