Detailed Review:

My initial thought of the product excited me. I thought it would be interesting to have a magnetometer (MAG3110), the pressure sensor (MPL3115) and an accelerometer (MAA849) on one board.

My students and I did about 7 proofs of concept projects. We did not tie it into other projects or boards but used it as a quick and dirty method of learning code. The general consensus of the class is that the board is easy to use but it has an extreme lack of documentation. We feel this product can be a fun board for the hobbyist but found the lack I/O headers on J1 and J10 connectors made it rather cumbersome for any non permanent designs.

PRO:

Very easy to use

The driver software is stored on the board

Great for proof of concept designs

CON:

Lack of documentation
