Detailed Review:

This Device was horrible. Basically, there is no real world use for it unless you felt that light sequences would be effective via C and this device, but Arduino can do just that and more. The device is rather small, defenitely palm sized, making it in theory convenient for possible animatron projects for theaters persay. But thes "Code Composer Studio" program, required for any developement, is simply horrific. It even gave me issues with the most simplistic sequences. Althought there are defenitely worse programs, this one, and the requirement of this one, only ad to the experience.  On my workstation, this program repetedly crashed, and interfered with my ti-84 program for syncronization to the point that i had to uninstall it. I think that if this board could be used for python, it would be easier. Also, even obtaining the program is quite a pain, seeing that you have to wait for texas instruments for appove your request for download! WHO DOES THAT? This product simply need much more work before it should even be considered for sellin/deployment.

I honestly cant say more about it as i was barely able to use it due to instability.

  • Problem is that is hard to write programs, lot of raw data, but no good examples like for STM32F4

And i don't see any question, it more, much more powerful than so many people beloved (because of no knowledge programing) arduino

It also have full JTAG and UART, and it is isolated from main board

  • I think the issue with this review is the lack of experiance with such development kits. Code Composer is not to bad of an IDE if one knows how to use it, which can take time to get used to. As for request to download that is very coman with big companies for what ever reason they choose. I have used the MSP430 Kit and the same could be said for that kit if I had not spent the time to learn it and use it. I have found this with a lot of the kits I have, that it boils down to time spent and energy investted to get the kit to do what you want it to do.

I am currently working with the STM32F4 kit and if I did not have a bit of an introduction first I would feel the same way as you, but I do not feel the C2000 Kit could really be that bad.
