Did you receive all parts the manufacturer stated would be included in the package?: True

What other parts do you consider comparable to this product?:

What were the biggest problems encountered?: Noobs install on sd card was from 2013 so had to update that to the current one but wasn't a real issue but the only thing extra out of box I had to do.

Detailed Review:

Would like to first start of by thanking element14 for another great roadtest it was almost like Christmas time not knowing what was in the package that arrived but was surprised I managed to get what I was hoping to get!

Thus being said I had another project in mind for this one but didn't have all the parts so decided that I would go ahead and wing together a project I have always wanted to do and see if the raspberry pi model b would handle it and sure enough it did!

From what I recall this isn't the first time this has been presented to the community so if it is then my info in the video is wrong but sure thought there was a grab bag last year as well.

Basically if I had to do it again I would certainly adjust my levels a bit when recording since that was a first test it turned out alright but I would certainly re-record it and edit it further since audacity has tons of plugins and filters you can basically do so much when it comes down to it from recording to editing your final project.  In the future I will certainly be putting out further podcast episodes on my site with just using the raspberry pi and audacity to complete the project.  Using headphones to monitor and adjust my setting will be a bit of playing around but nothing major.

So all and all nothing here is worth that much that I have in my setup and will certainly be adding on to the project and upgrading as I go to it making it a portable unit as well as self contained desktop unit with 7inch lcd on it as well.

Sometimes you just get to do some messing around on these roadtests and have fun with it and this time I had a great time and enjoyed it from start to finish and happy with the results.  Sure I had some ideas that didn't work but in the end the final result of it working and recording and able to edit was completed.
