Detailed Review:
So my daughter and I used the raspberry pi A to introduce her to coding. The device definitely performed very very well for this purpose. We did not get into any benchmarking or testing that pushed the device to it's limits though. My 7 year old, seen in our pictures interacting with the pi, really got excited when we would get it out to practice. We made use of The introduction to coding book (also pictured) to provide a bit of structure to the process. Considering the limited scope of our project and the limits imposed by the main user being 7 years old, the raspberry pi was definitely up to the task, with plenty of utility left for growth as she gets into more intricate projects. Plans for the near future include helping her to code and then build out the hardware necessary to create a scheduled sprinkler activation for the vegetable garden (her idea, and a great one to show some GPIO functionality too!)
To conclude, this version of the pi is certainly limited in hardware capability since it only has it one native USB port, but it is awesome for small projects!!
Thank you for including us in this test and we look forward to sharing future projects!
