You must be joking. All of these members wrote superior roadtest reviews.

As I said in my nomination document:

I don't have any hard and fast rules or benchmarks on how to nominate a RoadTester of the Year, so I'd begin with what you consider a great RoadTest. But you could also take the following into account:

1. Thoroughness

2. How Informative the Review Is

3. How Well It is Produced

4. The Insight The Review Provides

5. How Compelling It Is

6. How Useful It is to a Customer or the Supplier

7. If the Review Influenced Your Decision to Buy the Reviewed Product

When you say "All of these members wrote superior roadtest reviews.", do you mean the members that were nominated or all of the 22 reviews these nominations were selected from?

Not every actor gets an Academy Award. It starts with nominations. All the nominated actors can ultimately win. Same thing here.

I missed the chance to make a nomination(my own fault)

The review that I wanted to vote for didn't receive any nominations. This review was written by a new member.

This person wrote a great review but didn't make the cut.

This person even provided me information that was helpful to one of my reviews.

I asked the community for help and this person responded.

I don't care that none of my reviews were selected.

I do care when someone who deserves some recognition is completely overlooked.

You make some good points. I agree that this  nominating/vote process may well overlook someone who merits recognition. So, how can we recognize the "overlooked" members/roadtesters? Here are a few ways:

1. Write a blog on how the person helped you. (If that's too personal, write a blog regarding your personally favorite or best roadtesters of 2017. Create your own list.

2. I believe you joined the community about a year ago. Talk about your experience thus far: what have you learned? What would you still like to learn? What have you liked? What haven't you liked? Who has helped you and why? Things like that.

3. Write a Trent's RoadTesters of 2017.  (lead in: element14 has its own RoadTesters of the year. Well, these are my roadtesters of the year and why)

I invite anyone to write a blog on these suggestions.
