Poll: Why Haven't You Applied to a Roadtest Recently?

  • Several reasons:

    • don't want to hog all the loot
    • sometimes I have already scored a similar road test
    • shipping is so slow right now, parts won't arrive in time to complete a road test (I usually build something during a road test)

    My criteria for applying have become much more selective due to the above reasons - it has to be an item I will really make use of.

    The good news is I finally got some parts ordered around March. With one or 2 more deliveries, I can continue some old projects.

    In the mean time I am trying to do projects with parts I already have, which mostly means they have nothing to do with road tests.

    That's true, for me too.

     

    If I apply for a roadtest I'd be excited for it, and have a use for the board, or else it's just saying here's the board, you can test it and don't pay us anything, roadtest is, test and review the board, then you can use it for yourself.

     

    I'm in a roadtest, the one for the Maxim Integrated EV kit, the feather is quite nice, and... totally not the reason why I applied.
