    A CNC router is simpler than the 3d printer but not by much, if you can't built one of those then for the same reasons you will fail with the 3d printer if your buying a kit then you can do the same for…

    with what I have read on cnczone and the mach3 forum there never seems to be any problem with the frames just the electronic can be 50/50 that's why I point to the frame only.

    as you can get something like a tiny G or a gecko G540 to run the machine you can get good kits from G540 Hybrid Stepper Motor Kits | Automation Technology Inc

    there are a few other that work good out there.

    its just depends how deep your pockets are
