I've attached the code and project.

I used Code Composer Studio 10.1, TI Arm compiler 20.2.4 (long time stable release) and HALCoGen 4.07.01.

It's for the Hercules TMS570LS04 LaunchPad (the cheapest, simplest).

Can be easily adapted for the advanced Hercules controllers. It makes sense to start using DMA then.

Nice setup. Someday, I might need to do some CAN bus work/testing, so I might need to re-visit this. Great idea to build tools to let you test performance under heavily loaded conditions
