One day they might change the computing world and I look forward to that. I can remember going from punched cards, to paper tape, to terminals in the space of only three years - that was a quantum change for me. My next big quantum jump in computing was seeing TurboC compile for the first time. After spending 30 minutes compiling, linking, download then debugging after each edit and doing this for two years while studying, the millisecond compile time of TurboC was unbelievable.
