&lt;p&gt;The coral constantly sends out babies that may or may not find a suitable environment to grow.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Trying to preserve a reef in a given area is an effort in futility as the normal planetary changes the environment in which they can thrive.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I understand the commercial benefits to having a reef stay put so that it can be commercially exploited, but the reality of environmental dynamics makes reefs dynamic as well.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.element14.com/aggbug?PostID=27282&amp;AppID=431&amp;AppType=Weblog&amp;ContentType=0" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
