I like the redundancy in the tagline:

The prototype has lots of potential for pets to hide from loud noise. The noise-canceling kennel is only a prototype, but it has a lot of potential in the future.

or in other words ...

The noise-cancelling kennel is a prototype which shows potential in allowing pets to hide from loud noise.

Which just seems like fancy words for someone's concept idea that hasn't really been well tested and instead is more of an advertisement for Ford's vehicles that incorporate cabin-based noise cancelling technologies. Instead, the whole association with pets is more of an appeal to pet owners especially around the holiday season. Yay for advertising.

Interesting idea.

I'm wondering how effective this is for dogs, since their hearing is more sensitive than ours and covers a wider frequency spectrum. I'm wondering if the anti-node sounds that the system creates would cause any discomfort to the animal?
