So in the end you could fix it? Also, where could I ask for a IAR 8.30 enviroment setup steps? And a Linux Setup steps?

I found the reason.

The pushbutton is linked to pin 12.

Code listens to a non-existing pushbutton on pin 0.

I just tried to set that to pin 12 and the controller wakes up.

I found another error in the code.

Task 0 says it blinks a led, but the pin it's entertaining has no led attached

Task 1 says you won't see an effect because there is no led attached to that pin. But there is a led attached.

Maxim knows where these two pins are. In the board file, I see this definition:

So the board definition file in the library is correct. The FreeRTOS example for the MAX32660 is wrong.

Sounds like it might be an interrupt issue.

When you unplug the USB, you get a glitch on the power line, which probably wakes the device from deep sleep.

Check for an enable and disable interrupt setting.

Hopefully someone from Maxim reads this RoadTest and investigates why the support request was closed without comment or resolution.
