But I have used MSP43x as well as Stellaris/Tiva, C2000. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As I can&amp;#39;t stand the Arduino IDE, I do not use it on the MSP430 I just use TI&amp;#39;s tool based on Eclipse. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I really don&amp;#39;t know why more people that are using an Arduino just buy the MSP43x they are about the same price and you get a real 16 bit CPU, not 8 bits.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And you can get a small RTOS on it as well.
