Overview

The Stellaris® LM3S9B92 Ethernet+USB-OTG Evaluation Kit provides a low-cost evaluation platform for the LM3S9B92 ARM® Cortex™-M3-based microcontroller. The kit includes two boards: the EK-LM3S9B92 evaluation board, and an In-Circuit Debug Interface (ICDI) board. The evaluation board features a simple, streamlined design for 32-bit Stellaris-based application with industrial connectivity, highlighting the Stellaris LM3S9B92 microcontroller’s simultaneous integrated 10/100 Ethernet MAC/PHY, full-speed USB-OTG interfaces, and convenient connection to the MCU's GPIO ports.

Kit Contents

The EKC-LM3S9B92..EKC-LM3S9B92.. Evaluation Kit contains the hardware essentials you will need to use the Kit. The items in the Evaluation Kit and their use are as follows.

EK-LM3S9B92 Evaluation Board (EVB)
In-Circuit Debug Interface Board (ICDI)
- Connects to USB port on PC and to 10-pin ARM JTAG connector on the evaluation board
- 8-pin Power/UART connector provides power and virtual comm-port to the evaluation board

- SB-miniB to USB-A plug cable
- USB-µA to USB-A receptacle cable
- USB-µB to USB-A plug cable
- 10-pin ribbon cable for JTAG/SWD connection
- 8-pin ribbon cable for power/UART connection
Evaluation Kit CD containing:
- Complete documentation, including Quickstart and User's Manual
- Complete source code and schematics
- StellarisWare® software including peripheral driver library and example source code
- CodeSourcery Sourcery G++ GNU with a 30-day evaluation license

The Stellaris LM3S9B92 high-performance microcontroller with large memory
- 32-bit ARM® Cortex™-M3 core
- 256 KB main Flash memory, 96 KB SRAM, and ROM loaded with StellarisWare® software
For applications requiring more simultaneous access to peripherals and advanced motion control, the 80 MHz LM3S9B92 MCU features eight PWM outputs for motion and energy and two Quadrature Encoder Inputs (QEI) modules, along with options for maximal peripheral connectivity
Integrated advanced connectivity peripherals including Ethernet 10/100 with two LED indicators and USB 2.0 Full-Speed OTG
Standard size terminal headers for all MCU I/O for ease of prototyping
Complete source code, documentation and CodeSourcery Sourcery G++ GNU with a 30-day evaluation license
