The easiest way to do this is to use Autodesk's EAGLE software package. There's a built-in function to coordinate between the two packages for design purposes; you can choose to have either program be the 'master' for a given project, so you can have the mechanical/enclosure design drive the PCB design, or vice versa.

EAGLE also has a built-in package generator that will make footprints and 3D models for many common parts based on data sheet dimensions. For parts you can't (or don't want to) make with EAGLE's package editor, you can try https://www.ultralibrarian.com. If you can't find it there, try the manufacturer's website. If that fails, try https://www.3dcontentcentral.com/

I am currently using http://www.mcmaster.com/ for importing 3D STEP files for screws and nails. I was wondering where I could find a similar site for electronic components, specifically LCD screens, RAM and other hardware componenets? I would like to ultimaltey import these components into my project.. even see: Bluestacks TextNow Photomath .
