The science is very sketchy.

I think they will waste a lot of money before everyone realizes that this approach will not work.

Electrostatic is a repulsive force. You can make it appear to be an attractive force on the small scale, but that is just using smoke and mirrors.

Mythbusters did an excellent show where they use origami to inflate a lead foil cube from a flat object using helium gas.

They had to fold it just right to get the object to properly inflate to prove that you could indeed float a lead balloon.

Yeah... Foxconn made huge promises in order to build a facility here in Wisconsin. They got a lot of taxes breaks, etc. They built the building. They have delivered on about 10% of the initial pitch. [emoticon:83bbb1525ffc44c294fc5d238d2a33f7] I wouldn't pour my life's savings into this venture. They seem easily distracted by the next bright, shiny thing.

The problem with AI is that it is not predictable.

That makes it very high risk for any implementations where humans are involved.

Regardless of where you use AI you always have to adopt an awareness of its limitations and adjust your operational procedures accordingly.

AI has not yet reached a capability where it can be used without human oversight.

Ai can already make itself "smarter" by learning.

AI robots will be able to create "smarter" and more capable next gen AI robots.

When development goes exponential like this, it is hard for humans to predict the outcome beyond a very short timeframe.

We are starting to implement cobots in our plants, but still a long way from leading edge AI.
