Why do you need a browser to control a CNC machine that's sitting right in front of you? It's just software bloat to perform simple tasks you can do if you'r using a TinyG. There's a real possibility for to many communication glitches going through all the useless software libraries and coding. There's very small FREE code for the Raspberry PI that controls Shapeoko in a straight forward manner using the Tinyg.

Easel doesn't touch the major difficulty I hear from people all the time. I don't know how to create cad files to run on the Shapeoko or Makerbot Replicator. Nothing really useful takes 5 minutes. Stop being deceptive. It takes a bit of time and knowledge and there's no way around it. You will need real CAD software of some sort and a knowledge of how to create a suitable 2D file to cut. It's not extremely EASY and not for those that no nothing about 2D-3D design. You get tired of making trinkets and kids toys of other people's models/designs for download. Shapeoko 2 FULL kit is very faulty electronics (Gshield/Arduino) and wiring with no ground drain wire, plus comes with no safety features. Just a nifty pair of goggles. Don't mind the material imbedded in your face. The Hard limits function if switches ARE installed doesn't work and there's a lot of electronic noise that interrupts operation.

A very interesting capability.

If they can pull this off, they can bring CNC capability to a lot of new users.
