There seems to be a growing list of similar 'personal aircraft' that is only going to get longer. The relevant aviation autorities should (and probably are) start to demand standardisation on the navigation systems they would like to see built in, as many of these aircraft will also become autonomous over the coming years. For example, by specifying that they can communicate data on their planned movement to a central 'hub' using defined specifications, whilst receiving flight information back, some real progress will be made.

IInteresting video! Although it gives the impression that it is silent : ) I wonder what it's like at the claimed 62mph : )

A friend of mine recently built a toy quadcopter as a project, and he showed me his first launch of it.. he carefully took it up slowly about four feet or so, and so far so good.. then the control algorithm went nuts, it flipped, and then accelerated itself vertically into the ground! : (

I am not really sure that this qualifies as a car (nor does their website seem to promote that as one of it's features), but the videos of it flight are really cool.
