5G is starting to being rolled out on telecom networks so consumers can take advantage of faster speeds and low latency is they can see and do amazing stuff on their treasured smartphones. But what about 5G in the industrial space? Augmented and virtual reality tech will surely use 5G to their advantage in manufacturing. Smart engineers will use 5G in machine vision and motion control systems at some point. But are they ready for it?

Collaborative robots are being AI-driven, featuring machine vision, to enhance their safety.

Collaborative robots are being used for repetitive or difficult tasks, short production runs, and man-machine tasks.

Collaborative robots are perhaps the newest kind of robotic technology.

Signal connections are used in every type of electronic or electrical design. Sensors, actuators, switches, valves and cameras all need signal connections for control and monitoring. As more and more devices are added to the plant floor, secure and reliable connections become extremely important. So, what is your top concern when you are designing the signal connection for a product?
