Hi Cabe,

Internet of Things seems to be in the air these days.

Here's a recent blog from one of my colleague Kaivan Karimi (Freescale) which is entitled

Will the Internet of Things (IoT) turn your smart phone into the center of the universe?

To make it short, he explains that human will still be at the center of this new trend thanks to our smartphone.(through infrastructure and information). Which is a bit different from what you think. Any feedback ?

Hi Cabe,

Like anything new, the Internet of Things will evolve in ways that we cannot predict.

To determine if the results will be good or bad will depend upon how it is used and by whom.

Open information has unlimited uses. So of those uses will violate most peoples sense of privacy. Others will find it fascinating as to what you can see and do as more devices are connected and access allowed.

I hope that the benefits will outway the potential bad uses for the capability.

In the end, I think that is all we can hope for.

Just my opinion.
