Interesting project, It has given me inspiration to build a weather station from scratch, 3D printing some of the mechanical parts and I have a Spark Core just for the job. I plan to power it from a solar panel charged battery (parts taken from a solar powered light).

Looking forward to the next instalment.

How are your experiences with the Spark Core so far? Do you like it? I preordered some Spark Photons, but never worked with Core.
