Since these devices are wide open and have no security it can barely be called hacking.

Unfortunately any significant security would make them harder to use and thus less likely to be sold !!

BTW thanks for the baby Cloud launching service ...it looks great !

Could we have one as an element 14 project for the wee short days of winter .

I am puzzled by the need for an internet connected baby monitor.

If you are far enough away to need to use the internet to check the baby is OK you are probably too far away to do anything about it if it is not!

Yes, I picked up an inexpensive one several years ago for a couple of bucks at a garage sale.

I still need to finds some time, but it came with three IR capable cameras with IR LED illuminators, microphones on the cameras and an RF link.

Lots of toys for just a little money.
