We have not been able to cost-justify investing in greater IoT connectivity for internal production processes.</p><p>The business case is much more attractive to invest in new product development, some of which may be classed as IoT systems, but even there many clients are extremely averse to IoT.</p><p>The technology exists, but the motives are not always sufficient, perhaps partly because software solutions are incomplete.
