I've been testing this module myself with an ESP32 and level shifter. I've not had much luck applying the firmware update from Seeed's page ... and the data I get from it is very patchy and somewhat noisy even with one person very still in the room. The presence detection flag seems spurious and their demo app is not much better - there might have been some quirk with the data formats since the Arduino library and app seem to have slightly different capabilities. Correlation with other sensors (e.g. wearable) seems like it's not all that accurate - I was personally a bit disappointed with the module's performance even though I had high hopes for it.

$45 is rather a ridiculous price for it. I'm sorry to say but this module is available for a quarter of the price elsewhere, if you don't follow the links that are placed so many times in this blog.
