&lt;p&gt;Nice project, and very useful.&amp;nbsp; I learned to program&amp;nbsp;the MSP430G2xxx series microcontrollers when I first became interested in microcontrollers.&amp;nbsp; As I remember, they don&amp;#39;t have an RTC.&amp;nbsp; I haven&amp;#39;t delved into your code yet but am curious why in the I2C instruction set example RTC information is written to and read&amp;nbsp;from the microcontroller.&amp;nbsp; You must have an interesting application in mind for what is called the &amp;quot;main system&amp;quot; in your block diagram.&amp;nbsp; Thanks for posting, I still have some MSP430G2xxx processors in my stash and could put this to use.&amp;nbsp; And as you said in your previous blog, they can be purchased very cheaply right now.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.element14.com/aggbug?PostID=23886&amp;AppID=18&amp;AppType=Weblog&amp;ContentType=0" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
