I used a commercial one from Ebay to do a similar job only a couple of quit but these are better especially if you want several the same or the next size up from the tiny ones I got. What would be handy is a source of the little screened cans they use for the module them sleeves. They look pressed, I m sure it would be possible to repurpose a small car part or such for this job!!

This is great, top-quality work: your own RF building block. And nothing wrong with that label as far as I can tell!

You mentioned in Deck Your Bench with an Engineer and Maker's Wish List about a disc sander, that and/or a mill helps to make these sort of jobs extra neat. If you say you squared the tube off with a file then I'm extra impressed[View:/resized-image/__size/16x16/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-3534f974-f1ae-4e24-8481-120b52a2315b/contentimage_5F00_1.png:16:16]. I had a look through the Mini-Circuits to see what I could make for myself.

What size hollow section did you use - 50mm?

Great work. There appears to be no difference in quality between the home-made and ready-made versions in that first photo.
