(NYSE: VSH) today announced a new series of 1500-W surface-mount automotive transient voltage suppressors (TVS) with the industry’s lowest profile of 1.1 mm, and breakdown voltages from 6.8 V to 43 V. Featuring the eSMP&lt;span class="emoticon" data-url="https://community.element14.com/cfs-file/__key/system/emoji/2122.svg" title="Tm"&gt;&amp;#x2122;&lt;/span&gt; TO-277A package, the &lt;a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.vishay.com/doc?89056" rel="nofollow ugc noopener" target="_blank"&gt;TPC series&lt;/a&gt; offers a 27 % smaller footprint than devices in the traditional SMC package.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;For high-temperature stability in high-reliability conditions, the TVS devices released today feature patented PAR&lt;span class="emoticon" data-url="https://community.element14.com/cfs-file/__key/system/emoji/00ae.svg" title="Registered"&gt;&amp;#x00ae;&lt;/span&gt; construction for a temperature range of − 65 °C to + 185 °C.
