An additional element for power station output is the capture of waste heat and CO2 output to feed into greenhouses for increased crop production.

Coal is one of those very interesting fuels.

It is abundant, easy to mine and easy to use.

Unfortunately it generates air pollution and dumps about 80 times the amount of radioactive elements into the air than a nuclear power plant.

We need to continuously look for ways to use renewable sources of energy. Depleting natural resources, through combustion will always produce some form of pollution. When necessary, then minimizing the effects (pollution) is vital if we are to maintain a healthy environment.
