So at this point it will just highlight that you have a face or object that you have preset.

The next step could be to take the face and compare it to a specific face for ID or tracking.

I assume you can continue to capture camera frames and store them in the background even when the display window is closed.

It is nice to see vision capabilities featured prominently in a robotics kit.

I can imagine building a full robot around this kit is going to be an expensive proposition.

Robotics has always required a multi-disciplinary skill set, But with modern robots you also need AI, ML and networking.

I hope the requirements on the road tester don't scare everyone off - it is an awesome kit.

I need one to find the dropped screws. The robot needs to survive the crushing gravity of a black hole, because that's where the screws usually go.

Nice, a balance-bot is on my bucket list. I've seen some snappier balancing bots, this one seems to hunt a bit to keep balanced, maybe filtering time on the accelerometer feedbacks or gearing/ramp ref of the S9 servos could be played with. I also had a fellow in the robot club (attempt to) build one 5 feet high, out of wood. A for creativity, F for placing us in danger when the thing hit the floor :-)

Using the balance-bot for walking a hamster or guinea pig would be a fun Rube. The challenge is adding a velocity reference to each wheel that works with the balance regulator and can do turns without falling.
